OPTIMA Introduces TDC 125 & MultiUse Series

Designed to produce all current transdermal patches and oral film strips at a lab scale or in small production batches

OPTIMA introduced the TDC 125, designed to produce all current transdermal patches (TDS) and oral film strips (ODF) at a lab scale or in small production batches. All the production and packaging processes can be validated before being transferred to larger production machines if required. The scalable machine is suitable for manufacturing product samples for clinical tests, for market launch and even for subsequent production. In its simplest form, the system features intermittent operation. Alternatively, the system can be operated continuously with a high output for series production.

OPTIMA also recently introduced its MultiUse series, a flexible filling and closing machine for the processing of nested and bulk containers. The systems can process various nested syringe, vial and cartridge formats. It’s equipped with a transport system that can process vial ranges from 2cc up to 30cc at production rates up to 150 products per minute without format change parts. According to the company, its modular design allows for flexibility to respond to market/production demands.
